how selective are the fraternites during rush?
by: ian4854I'm a senior in high school and just got accepted to a southern and plan on rushing. I was wondering how selective the top-tier/ mid-tier fraternities are during rush. I've heard a lot of different stories.

Both these answers are retarded. The atlanta area/statesboro area stereotypes only exist because most recruitment comes from a freshman that just joined the fraternity, has friends graduating from their old high school and coming here. As long as you have a decent personality, know how to initiate a conversation, non-embarrassing social media, and don't piss off/aggravate the wrong person you can get a bid anywhere. Rush every fraternity on and off row, and see where you fit in best. ~100 kids end up not getting bids in the fall because they suicide rush only on row fraternities, because in-fact everyone on row is selective.

SX-statesboro, selective if youre not from statesboro, if youre not from south GA no chance.
KA-if youre he kid that wore bandanas sagged their pants in HS then decided to come to Southern and embrace beig white and fake an acxent they will bid you. Want people to believe they are country.
KS-DGAF where youre from, not really selective but not an easy bid either.
PKP-private school ATL kids, if youre not a private school north fulton/cobb kid you have to be rich. Selective.
ATO-used to be selective, are now much easier to get a bid from. Mostly atlanta area.
SN-mix of atlanta area guys and some coluumbus/savannah area kids. Not selective at all.
SAE DX and DTD- not selective at all.
