rushing and grades

Is it too hard to keep a 3.0 GPA while rushing an on row fraternity during freshman year? I don't know if it would take too much study time away or not and I don't know if I should rush or not

Depends on the fraternity, most fraternity's make pledges have mandatory study hours so not too hard as long as you make good use of your time in the library.
