Did KD really not make quota?? I know AOPi went over quota by a good bit and was the largest pledge class on the row and I know some of them barely made quota, but I didn't know they didn't make it at all! They're extremely selective. They dropped some incredible girls this year who went to other sororities instead.

But I think everyone puts KD first because it's really hard to decide who else would be first. There isn't really a "first place" anymore I don't think. A lot of the lower ones have surpassed what used to be higher ones and it's just hard to determine.

A lot of people don't put KD first because those girls don't have an amazing sisterhood and a lot of people don't feel as if they'd be comfortable there. Yeah KD has tons of pretty girls but that doesn't mean a lot of people wanted them. I know tons of really pretty girls that listed them 3,4,5 during rush. And I even saw some girls with KD bid cards bawling their eyes out on bid day....

I talked to a girl on bid day who was upset she got KD because she wanted Aopi. They are gorgeous girls but I've heard the same thing...that during rush they're absolutely incredible and a lot changes after that. One of my friends told me he knows a bunch of KD girls who don't like it there at all. Who cares about looks if you don't have a good sisterhood, which is the main reason people should want to join a sorority? I know some girls in there are happy of course, but I know there are other sororities who are laid back. The "top" sororities are the ones that have good looks, but that's it. Any down to earth girl who doesn't care about that wouldn't want that.

but they're known for getting around and i've met some total snobs and just stuck up people there. aopi has the sweet, chill girls that aren't stuck up but can have a good time while staying classy. most zetas can't do that

Zetas are known for getting around. I think everyone has had at least one bad experience with them. I mean in every sorority you're going to have the girls that get around, and the weirder ones, and snobs and so on. But the majority of them do get around from what I've seen and heard. I mean more power to ya, just don't be upset wondering why your sorority isn't doing as well. I know many girls who preffed AOII over them (and others) on pref day, for example. AOII is definitely one of if not the best on campus at this point, I'd say. A lot has changed the last 2 years.

Every sorority has a different reputation and at appeal to different girls! Not better or worse but just different! No one will ever agree who is on top.
