help need opinions

Hiiii so I really want to rush this fall but I know apperance is a huge part in getting a bid to a sorority and I'm not one of those super skinny girls like I see on all the sororities instagram pages and I was wondering if I should even bother rushing if no one will give me a bid since I'm not skinny. And yes this is serious please help me decide. I really want to be a part of one but don't want to end up without a bid

It's likely that you'll a bid as long as you're not sloppy and well put together. Go look at their YouTube videos to see a larger variety of members in each sorority.

No one cares if your not skinny or whatever. As long as you have a good personality and the people who rush you like you then you will get a bid.

why would u want to join a sorority if you think all they care about is looks. it's about finding a sisterhood. the girls are trained to know if your personality would fit within their sisterhood

I'm rushing as well and I am definitely not a size 0 either. I'm just going in with a positive mindset knowing that I may not be the skinniest girl, but like everyone else said sororities arent just about looks.
