help! advice rushing as a junior!!!
by: heyHi everyone I'm looking for help about what the view is on rushing a sorority as a junior. I will be here at least 2 full more years and plan on being very involved if I got in. I have a lot of friends in sororities but they don't help very much and I know its a shot in the dark to rush as a junior but is it worth it to at least try? Which sororities will take juniors and which ones of the top tiers are major no's- would they even take one or two as a quota thing or no?

Honestly Chi O and DPE are your only shots. When we give out bids, we want girls who will be here the longest period of time. With the amount of girls rushing increasing and the low quotas we are given, we dont want to 'waste' a bid on someone who will only be here 2 years rather than a full 4. Also, I wouldn't suggest rushing if you are concerned about "teirs". You need to look at the sisterhood as a whole, not how cool/pretty/"top teir" a sorority is. Trust me when I say once you are in a sorority, the only thing that matters is the sisterhood. XO and DPE are the only ones who are taking juniors not because they are bad, but they are new and need more girls/ a larger variety of girls. Hope that helped.
