how competitive is rush?
by: PnmHonestly I've heard so many mixed things. I've heard you need 4-5 recs for each house to even be considered. I've heard they already know who they want beforehand. I've heard your guaranteed a bid if you just go through the week. I've heard it's uptight. I've heard it's laid back. Seriously, I. am. So. Confused.

I went through rush as a freshman and from my experience, it is really competitive for the top tier houses (KD, ADPi, Phi Mu). Phi mu automatically drop you if you don't have a certain gpa (I think it was 3.5 when I rushed) but the lower houses (AOPi, kkg, dphie, chi o) are going to be a lot easier. If you don't get a bid from AOPi for kkg I guarantee you will get one from dphie simply because they need the numbers and I assume chi o would be the same

I take that back, AOPi is more middle tier but it's definitely easier than any of the top tiers of zeta
