how much will being a new member cost
by: $$$So my parents are totally supportive of me joining a sorority, but their thing is that although they could pay dues for me I need to learn to be an adult and pay at least half of the costs. So what's a range of what I might be paying my first semester? Not including Tshirts and the extra stuff. I just wanna know so I'm aware of how much money from work I should save and how many hours on summer I should work

It's broken down into monthly payments. Your first semester will be more expensive(probably $1400 at the absolute most)..You will be given this info during recruitment. You will be fine-don't let it scare you away, especially if you are splitting it with your parents. second semester is so much less than first! Just plan to work hard this summer or get a job when you get on campus and you will be fine!
