This person has it going on...

"First off, I was referring solely to undergraduate studies. If I go to graduate school rankings, I am not sure that helps but I don’t care as I am a future freshman. Second, I am not knocking the school but I brought up journalism as that is what you hear about (and apparently that ranking is falling at the undergraduate level at least). Not even going to the USNWR # 103 ranking or Forbes # 230.
In regards to Pride Points under Sinclair school website, it talks about nursing as a top 30, 40 or 50 program depending on the level. Nursing is great for those few but those rankings would not be why I applied. A Top 10 or even 20 program would be impressive, then yes if I wanted to be a nurse.
Ag – U.S. World Report listed top 12 and Mizzou not there. Cornell, Purdue, Davis, Iowa State, Michigan State, Nebraska and others listed but not Mizzou. I then went to the 30 best value ag schools and not listed either.
Business - Bloomberg has it ranked 75th. Not in top 30 (all I could see) in U.S. News. Accounting wasn’t in top 30 either just in case you bring that up as well. Found accounting under account degree org at # 26.
I read Education was another of their better programs but not top rated or even close. None of what you said is true unless you feel that top 30 -70 is top ranked. I assume you are regurgitating the mantra you hear to make you feel better about your lot in life Dr. Obtuse"

If you can get into Wharton, Johns Hopkins, Cornell or wherever, then you should. It's that simple. And no one here is going to miss you. If you plan your entire life around rankings, you will certainly have a great education, but you might want to think about the value of experiencing something for yourself and learning to make the best of the cards you are dealt. And you also might want to ask yourself why you have wasted all that time and energy researching ways to insult a university that most of us cherish. To me, that's hardly time well spent. But then I don't have an ax to grind.

Make the best of the cards I've been dealt? In other words, making the best of having to settle and go to a mediocre school? Wow. If that's your life mantra, I feel sorry for you. And it's not a glowing endorsement for Mizzou, either.

Maybe you wouldn't have to work so hard if you spent less time on GreekRank...just a thought.

I don't have an ax to grind. I am looking for the best deal out there and Mizzou looks like one of them. My initial post made a comment about one school and I get hit with nursing, business and agriculture programs being top rated. Instead of blindly accepting what others write, I looked them up and discovered those were false claims.

Not sure I can get into the Ivy Schools but nor can I afford it. And I don't see your relevance. However if you are the same person responding to me with your incoherent dribble, you do not frame a picture of literate structure. Please stop embarrassing your school.

Pretty sure someone who doesn't know the difference between "dribble" and "drivel" shouldn't be casting the first stone. And please enlighten us. What is "a picture of literate structure." As for your uncertainty over getting into an Ivy, I'll clear it up for you. No, you can't.
