rooming in the house

Currently freaking out because I obviously want to live in my sorority house sophomore year for the experience and it being on campus, but I have no idea who I'd room with. I'm on good terms with my PC but really only have two friends I hang out with occasionally. They're both rooming together with 2 other girls and it's like i'm out of options. Should I just ask around in my pledge class group me and see if someone needs a roomie or should I just be placed random?
