September 2015 Journalism School rankings:
USA Today released its ranking of the top 10 journalism schools in America, with two Boston programs topping list.
"Emerson College took top honors, while Boston University placed fourth, behind Northwestern University (2) and University of Texas at Austin (3). Emerson and BU beat out high-profile programs like New York University (7) and Syracuse University (9)."
Well shucks......Mizzou isn't even mentioned. Your time is over, guys.

First of all, this is a ranking of undergraudate programs and does not take into account Mizzou's master's and PhD programs. Second, it was reported by USA Today, but the study was done by College Factual, which no one has ever heard of. Third, Mizzou indeed was on the list. At #7. Why do people feel compelled to lie. Do you think we haven't heard of Google? Fun fact: Mizzou was rated # 1 on at least 6 other rankings I've found.

Tell that to half of the producers at ESPN who are Mizzou grads with $200,000+ salaries within 5 years after graduation. Tell that to strat comm majors with their own agencies, hauling in untold amounts of $$$$. Tell that to anchors who are the face of an entire community, and sometimes earn $1 million plus. You really need to research your subject before assuming that graduates from the Missouri J-School have no future.

Yes! Let's all say insulting things about the one major at Missouri that is respected around the world. Because it helps all of us when Mizzou is commended for Not One Thing. What in the world are you people doing? Why are you so intent on running the J-School into the ground? How does that benefit ANYONE. How stupid can you be? The fact is that it is the first, oldest and most respected School of Journalism in the nation, with more Puiltzer Prizes than any other university. People come from around the world to attend. It's list of outstanding graduates is long. And the influx of women from around the nation adds diversity and quality to our Greek system. So tell me again why you insist on saying insulting things about it? How does that help any one of us?

I don't think it's the J School per se that people on here are putting down, it's YOU. The people that are so condescending to other schools (Rhodes, Emerson) other majors (nursing, Biology) and other sororities (of course they all suck, except yours), etc. It's your lengthy diatribes about how much money ESPN journalists will make and the like that make people want to SCREAM at you to STFU! You are such a douchebag!

Do you think the Purdue Greek Rank site would ever boast if that school were no longer listed as a top engineering school? Do you think Greek Rank at Penn celebrates when Wharton is no longer a top ranked business school? Do you think Texas A&M would whoop it up if it tumbled from ag school rankings? Of course not. The attitude on this site is just sick.
