It shouldn't be about "tiers" anymore - each and every house has great qualities.

The "lower tier" sororities, as you described it, are just as active on campus and are working twice as hard as the "top tier" houses - and it showed at RAMS.

I'm a tridelt and joined for shallow reasons... I have sisters I love of course but a lot of us hate it. Honestly, I get jealous of houses that seem to have more fun and less drama...

Not true for all houses that win comps. Theta, axo, and kappa typically place in hoco, GW, and RAMS and they're all upper mid tier houses. Not low tier.

That too, I meant everyone who's not top, I think most would consider those houses just mid. Not my opinion but the traditional rankings

According to RAMS -

Women's Overall:
First Place - Phi Mu
Second Place - Kappa Alpha Theta
Third Place - Alpha Chi Omega

Men's Overall:
First Place (tie) - Delta Chi & Delta Tau Delta
Second Place - Farm House Fraternity
Third Place - Sigma Alpha Epsilon

ROCK IT:
Women's First Place - Alpha Chi Omega at Mizzou
Men's First Place - Delta Tau Delta

But these houses aren't really lower tier. KD is the lowest house and I wouldn't consider them bottom tier. What the middle tier lacks in cuteness they make up with for doing well in comps.
