by: TrulyA recent post pointed out that some 500 girls drop out of rush, in part because they aren't happy with their choices as the week progresses. We already have an amazingly strong Greek system. Imagine how great it would be if everyone stayed through rush until the end. We no longer would have ANY houses that are not desirable. Every sisterhood would be made up of top-notch women. And every sorority experience would be something commendable.
Commentby: Well...
The thing is, every house could be a desirable house if women opted to stick with it and not drop out of rush simply because they think they are better than the houses they have left on the last day.

Signs is already struggling with retention. Adding another sorority would most likely hurt sigma. Until sigma can be a desirable house, we cannot add another new house to the mix.
