Why would someone who has no pride in what Mizzou represents choose to go to school here? Forever after you will be a Mizzou grad. If you hate it that much, why are you here?

You couldn't pay me enough to attend a school I hated as much as some people seem to hate this school.

For starters remember that there are people that don't go here on this site and a lot of people who don't go here making comments online.
Secondly, someone can have pride in their school and still disagree with some things that have taken place on campus. If you care about something you want what is best for it, whatever that means to you.

I'm a junior at Mizzou whose entire family went here - siblings, parents, aunts/uncles, etc. I never even applied anywhere else. I am so discouraged by what happened last Fall, and the "protest" has been a huge bone of contention in my family. Believe me, Christmas break wasn't fun at my house. My siblings loved the President and felt like he was railroaded out of a job. Payton Head is a huge disgrace, and my brother voted for him. That's why.

Your opinion is completely valid but I feel like we shouldn't be discussing all this on here.
we know pnms are looking at this site, we shouldn't discourage them from coming here.

By President, I mean President Wolfe. It was a travesty that he was forced out of his job.

By any measure, the president was an embarrassment. He was not railroaded out of a job, he embarrassed himself and the university. He had to go and if it hadn't been in fall during the protests, it would have been shortly thereafter. Plans were already set in motion for his termination.

Then isn't it the university that should have forced him out if he wasn't doing his job instead of the childish temper tantrum of a privileged professional student who is a community organizer wannabe?? Sorry for run on ...

I really don't understand why you keep starting new posts about this. Oh, and your ????comments that you follow up your original post with is a dead give away. Not let's drop this, ok? If you would like the answer to your question, go read your last post and the answers that followed. As soon as a crystal clear point is made, you start another post. Can we drop this and move on.
