guaranteed bid?

Literally the only way is if your older sister is an active member of that chapter. Provided your grades aren't awful or you weren't an terrible human being during rush 10/10 you will be placed at the top of the bid list. Aside from this special instance being a legacy to an alum can only take you so far
#3by: The closest
The closest you can get to being guaranteed a bid is if your sister is an active member the house while you're rushing. Meaning your sister is a XO at Mizzou while you're trying to become a XO at Mizzou. And even then, you need to have great grades and good conversations.

There's nothing you can do to guarantee a bid, but you can maximize your chances by: having stellar grades from a competitive high school; being outstanding at something, whether it's a sport or a musical instrument or editor of the school paper or whatever; being friendly and interested at EVERY house, because word travels fast if you are disrespectful; asking relevant questions to make the conversation flow; having at least one rec for every house; keeping an open mind.

And when I say active member of that chapter I don't mean if your older sister is a Chi O at Alambama or something, I mean that they are an active member in the chapter at Mizzou.
