Good luck to all my intelligent, awesome PHA ladies as interviews for admission to the nursing program begin this month! Don't freak out too much and take some time and preparation to prepare for you interviews. If you don't make it in this cycle, don't fret and try again!

You might want to be a bit more articulate than the OP. Because if you really think taking "some time and preparation to prepare" is the best way to make a good impression, think again. Is this person ^^^^^ REALLY in college?

Hope to Hof you are t in the nursing school with that attitude. I can only imagine how you would be with patients! Does it make you feel superior and smarter than everyone because you can come on an anonymous gossip site and correct everyone's spling and grammar. What a sad life you must lead.

It's not spelling and grammar. It is basic word choice and sentence construction. And, no, it doesn't make me feel superior, it makes me sad.

I find it fascinating that someone who encourages someone to be more careful in their writing is thought to be literally worse than a mass murderer, a Ponzi scheme artist who preys on confused old women or someone who knowingly infects another with HIV. Gosh, who would have known????????

Are you telling me that you can do actual time for correcting someone's infantile writing? Who knew!

Sorry if my poor word choice offends or makes you doubt my intelligence. Last time I checked this was Greek Rank and not an English paper. My focus was not to be as concise as I could or have perfect sentence structure. The point of this was to spread a positive message to those who might be anxious about interviewing for the nursing program. You'll find more happiness in life if you stop searching for negative things to say in things that are intended to bring good vibes. Have a good evening.

Sinclair was just named the #1 nursing program in the nation by NurseBuff. Good luck to all the women applying!

Smh look at the other schools on the list, they're schools you've never heard of. So tired of nursing students bragging about being #1, you're only #1 in rankings that don't include major universities.

This ranking is nothing to boast about. I would never want to be in the company of the others on the list. I mean, it's not like the J-School beating other significant schools like Northwestern and Columbia.

Johns Hopkins in on that list, I don't know how much more prestigious you want it to be. Just because you don't think a University has a particularly good undergrad program doesn't mean that the graduate programs are bad. Sinclair is a famous nursing school as is our business school program. Mizzou is what you make of it. I'm sorry you ended up in some tragic program that you don't like but that doesn't mean you have to take it out on people who are succeeding.

"I would never want to be in the company of the others on the list."

You wouldn't want to be associated with Johns Hopkins or Brigham Young? Shows how much you know.

I'm actually in the business program, an actual prestigious mizzou program unlike nursing. JH is prestigious but they're the only other, read the criteria for the ranking before boasting, we all know the grades to get into nursing are mediocre.

Just because a university isn't particularly well rounded in all programs doesn't make their ranking as a top nursing program any less meaningful. You can also lose the condescending tone with nursing students as well. Mizzou's business school isn't even top 20 in rank and most business students besides the accounting program couldn't handle our pre-nursing courses let alone courses in the actual clinical program, meanwhile business courses wouldn't be too challenging for us. I'm not saying business is a bad major by any means, but don't go talking down on a major that's significantly more difficult than yours.
