they did not officially "cob"..and that might in fact do them in because what their members said was-they were too good for that..however everyone..EVERYONE knew they were WAY under qoata.
they decide to offer snap bids to friends...exact words were to only invite friends"like them" the bid controversy is that their 'friends' were not neccesarily pulling the grades, yes looks and connections to everyone, but not grades. the girls that were pulling connecions were not up to tri delt usual 'standards" thus the pathetic fall of a once top house.

Delta expelled all of the girls in their house that weren't making grades and didn't COB so they can get their grades sorted out. No house is required to COB and Delta's Nationals don't allow them to hold official COB events. They only extend snap bids to friends of girls already in the house.

Please. The whole "I know because my roommates in the house" is the oldest lie in the book. This isn't the truth, it's another rumour going around because I posted it on a thread about theories on how tridelt messed up so bad

It's true. Anyone with a friend in Delta has heard about this. They kept ignoring their grade risks because a lot of them were legacies and they didn't want to have to petition their Nationals to expel them but their grades suffered so badly that they finally had to bite the bullet and they got rid of nearly forty girls.

Delta never COBs and they never will. You have to know someone in Delta to get a bid if it's not through formal recruitment. They're not like KD who will publicly hold COB events because they know that COB isn't a negative thing. Delta is elitist and it's hurting them as a result. I don't know how they're going to make up that deficit of girls but good luck to them.

Delta giving bids to girls they know is still COB. I know tridelt you're super ashamed about it so you try and pretend it's not, but sadly it is... If anything it's more desperate the way you try and hide it.

Delta is technically not allowed to participate in informal recruitment according to their nationals so, while they might be snap bidding, they are not officially participating in COBing

That's not what snap bidding is. Snap bidding ONLY occurs during formal recruitment after pref and before bids are handed out.
And tridelt at other schools does COB. there's no such national rule. That would be a stupid rule because if you don't allow COB then your weaker chapters are destined to fail. Especially colonizing chapters basically have to COB at least their first couple years. Not every tridelt chapter is a strong house that always makes quota - there are schools where they're the absolute bottom house. And those chapters DO participate in COB

The school I transferred from had a tridelt chapter that cobed every year, why do people bother blatantly lying.
