marching mizzou?

by:

Is there anyone that's in a sorority and in marching band? Was it hard to get into? Super competitive? And also I know band camp is the same week as rush so is there a way to do both?

Honestly, because both are some a huge time commitment, you'll probably have to pick one. I'm not saying you can't do both but it will be hard and you'll sacrifice a lot to get half of the experience from each.

While both are huge time commitments, there are girls who make it work. If you love band and want to be in a sorority, there's no reason you can't do both. You will have to make some sacrifices, but it's doable.

I know a girl who went through formal recruitment and had her marching Mizzou priorities at the same time, and it was incredibly stressful for her. She did marching Mizzou that year but quit after. I know you'd love to be in both but the stress of balancing is not worth it. If you see yourself valuing what a sorority can give you over marching band, I'd say you're better off just going through recruitment. If you're super passionate about band and can't live without it pick that. You can try balancing them, but there's a great chance you'll end up dropping one or the other or your grades dropping.

If you are a flautist, you will do just fine.
