How important is family income during rush? vs. good grades, looks, or extracurriculars?

looks are not make or break but they can help you

family income is not important

Don't go through rush if you can't afford it, however. If you have to drop after receiving a bid because of finances you are only taking the place of someone who can help the sisterhood over the long haul.
