It takes a pretty shallow person to not understand that a top house can pledge whomever it wants to pledge, and this year TriDelt opted for an extremely well-rounded group. That might mean they aren't all beauty queens, but they took a page from the way PiPhi recruits and got the best girls to fill their needs. Now, if someone can't understand that quality has many faces, I'm sad for you. But the best houses know that it is not in their best interest to be stereotypically one-dimensional. Which is why GPhi and APhi will never be top houses.

Well rounded is important but you need to be killing it at something to be top tier. Tridelt is headed to being on par with say kappa or adpi so I would say this decision wasn't the best one.

The whole tridelt still got the girls they wanted because they wanted more well rounded girls is bs. They went for pretty girls with decent grades before and unfortunately those girls weren't always the richest girls. The past two years they targeted money and put aside some pretty/smart girls so that they could get rich stl girls and that's all there is to it. Tridelt is just trying to do damage control by saying they're looking for well rounded girls. You know how I know this is true? Aside from talk with unimpressed senior tridelts it's also just plain old obvious they weren't going for well rounded. Look at their chapter's GPA... It's gotten worse not better! That was tridelt's weak spot, it would've been the first area they would work on. Think about it

i don't get how tridelt is getting worse? the majority of them are still attractive, they still have one of the higher gpas of the sororities, frats seem to like them, and they do a really good job with their philanthropy. they haven't gotten in trouble with pha or anything. am i missing something? serious question

The thing is that it doesn't matter how "bad" the top tier gets, our middle tier houses aren't good enough to be better than them. So yeah, Delta is slipping. But even off their game they're better than most of our other houses. Which is why Delta and XO will be top for a LONG time.

Nonono you are only part right. That's why xo and theta stay top. Tridelt had nothing else good going for them so they've actually slipped out of top tier to mid
