questions about rushing twice
by: PNM?If I were to be cut from every house because of grade risk, would it be weird to rush again sophomore year? Is that like looked down upon??

If you're going for Theta or XO they would maybe look down on you for it (can't say for sure I'm not in one of those chapters) but otherwise if you were only cut due to grade risk I wouldn't really worry about it. There's a good chance you'll still be able to find your home :)

If you couldn't get good grades in high school, I'm wondering if sorority life should really be a priority for you instead of studying. Your first year in a sorority is very time consuming and you have to be really organized and focused to do well grade-wise. Maybe sorority life isn't for you.

First of all, a 3.4 is not great for a sophomore going through rush. And, second, in your OP you used the future tense: "If I were to be cut..." There is nothing about that post that says you are a sophomore. And what in the world does this mean? "I am rushing as a sophomore year again." With language skills like that, which border on illiteracy, I doubt you have time for a sorority.

Still haven't a clue what you are talking about. But PNMs are a dime a dozen. And I don't think a PNM who got cut from every house and who has a mediocre academic history should really be calling a sorority member a loser. But,hey, that's just me.

Look, I'm not worried about what YOU or YOUR house thinks. I'm not going to type an essay with great grammar for Greek rank? Obviously your house can go ahead and judge people on how high school used to be, but I'd personally leave that in the past. We all got into Mizzou anyways? I'm set on rushing again and finding a home whether or not you think I can handle it.

Yes she must be a geed to say that 3.4 isn't impressive, that's the GPA of our most academic house. That is embarrassing girl!

That's the AVERAGE GPA, which means half of the people in the house have a GPA above that. Why would you pledge someone who tried her hardest to boost her grades and still has a GPA that is worse than half your house?

A PNM with such limited social skills, a terribly aggressive attitude and who is barely able to communicate won't go far during rush anyway. So let's all save our breath. Thousands of girls go through rush. She already has been cut by every house. Why are we wasting our time?????
