So, there's talk of expansion going on. There was an exploration committee that met this last semester to discuss potentially bringing another sorority to campus. We don't know what they voted on yet or what panhellenic voted on, but what sororities do you think would do well at Mizzou? Who do you hope to see presenting?
Hopefully we decide to expand because every house made quota this year, and yet there are still a ton of girls who got dropped from recruitment. If we add another chapter more girls can find their homes.

I believe that's a big part of what the exploratory committee is discussing. But a new sorority wouldn't REALLY need a house their first year because they would recruit after formal recruitment ended and not do formal recruitment till the next year.
Any sorority would need a solid house plan before committing to come to this campus - if they think they can survive more than their first year without a house, they're crazy.

Exactly. The reason Sigma Kappa was the house allowed to come back was because they actually owned the house they now live in and were simply renting it out to the frat that was living there. It was a no brainer. Sigma Kappa nationals told the guys that it was their last year in the house and then spent alumni money updating and renovating it.
Any house that wants to come back needs to have some sort of plan at least, probably with the intent to have the full fully running by their first "real" rush like SK had to.
I think DZ nationals have the best shot, their alumni network is well funded and involved.

Would be a good choice mainly because they've never had a chapter at Mizzou and they could start with a clean slate.

I think -despite this website-almost every single sorority will welcome you with open arms! please contact houses and please disregard with what you see on this website. Never ever thought I'd want the house I have_-had letters for every single house for recruitment . and. I ended up in the house I NEVER EVER thought I'd want. Keep an open mind-this website is total bs-..just go in and meet the girls-you will be pleasantly surprised ! After the first day you will totally disregard any and all stereotypes-this board is totally lame and run by trolls!

How about Alpha Xi Delta? I think they would be a good choice! They don't have a history at Mizzou so they'd start with a clean slate and they've had successful recent expansions at Oklahoma State, Michigan State, and Texas Tech which shows their nationals know how to do it. I think AXiD or DZ would be great choices to join Mizzou's PHA community!
