Here's mine, coming from out of state, not knowing even one person ahead of time (Greek or otherwise) at Mizzou and not knowing much about the individual houses here (though I knew the overall reputation of Greek life on this campus was outstanding).

I judged the houses mainly on quality of the conversation and how welcome I felt. Also on the actual houses (structures) themselves because I knew I would be bringing high school friends and family to the house and I wanted them to be as impressed as I was. I made grade cuts, so that wasn't a factor. I had a great rush and before you start accusing me of being in one house or another, I wound up pledging one of the top three on the list.

Keep hating on APhi but they're really nice girls that I clicked with and continue to click with to this day even though I went in a different direction. I have friends in the first four houses I mentioned and I love and respect these houses now even more than I did during rush. Maybe you should work on making friends in Greek town instead of spreading hate about any house you're threatened by.

You really expect us to believe that you would have dropped rush if XO, ADPi, Theta, Kappa or AXO were among your choices? Congratulations. You are the first person in the history of sorority recruitment at the University of Missouri to pref Zeta and Alpha Phi over what clearly are superior houses.

1) LOTS of girls prefed APhi over those houses. 2) You geeks wouldn't understand but some people would rather be GDI's than hang out with the painfully awkward girls in ADPi, Theta and Kappa.

There's a suspicious zeta that's been on this site lately trying to sneak her bottom tier house in to talks with "moving up" and linking zeta to better houses. Uh... Anyone else catching on to this psycho? Sweetie, there's a reason zeta is known as the crazy house. Stop trying so hard to tier jump. You are still competing with SK and phi mu for girls. Come back when you at least can manage to compete with KD in low middle tier.

Sorry but I made my list by the conversations I had and who I felt comfortable with. Those were houses I liked. Yes, I liked Zeta, I'm not one but I had good visits there. I could only have three on pref day. I knew a couple girls in other houses but no one I clicked with. This information is intended to let people know you shouldn't be ashamed of what you like during recruitment. We are all individuals with our own preferences. You don't need to put up with bullying for liking a house that gets bad press on Greek rank.

I had no clue what Greek life was before rush, my cousin pushed me to sign up so I did. I'm out of state and hadn't laid my eyes on this site either... I could definitely feel the top sorority vibe from Tri Delta and Pi Phi... Everyone else I just thought were pretty girls in a sorority and figured that was the standard at Mizzou. I got all the houses I wanted at preference i had Pi Phi, KD, and Sigma. I got Pi Phi. I was fine as long as Pi Phi all week. Had KD and Sigma because they were sweet, so why not? Would have been a little disappointed if I wasn't a Pi Phi, but ya win some you lose some right...?

For a minute there I thought Little Miss Alpha Phi and her insatiable desire to promote her mediocre house had disappeared. But she's back, folks. And we are still amused at her delusions.
