let's have a critical talk about tiers

No bias here. It's clear there are a lot of dissenting opinions about who belongs in which tier and it's obvious that the tiers have changed in just this last year. So let's talk about it. This is Greek RANK after all. If the tiers have changed, let's have a discussion about it.
Houses that I think should move in rank.
Kappa to middle tier instead of upper middle
ADPi to top tier
Zeta to middle tier
KD to bottom tier
DG to upper middle tier
Let's chat it out.

Nice try, Alpha Phi. But the most current stats available (spring 2015) Alpha Phi is 14th on the list of PanHel sororities. And they just keep heading lower. You really need to learn how to read a spreadsheet, Alpha Phi, because as a secretary you will need to know that.

Nice try APhi and GPhi, but the fact is that you can't be top tier unless you are the real deal. That includes grades, whether you bottom-feeders want to acknowledge that or not. GPhi says it gets the girls it wants, but it aims so low that that is hardly commendable. And APhi is so stupid they try to convince us their grades are better than they are when all we have to do is look at the Greek Life website. And look what we find there. GPhis grades are even lower than APhi.

Sorry but grades effect the individual not the sorority. My sisters grades have nothing to do with me in the slightest! And pnms don't choose a sorority based on grades... For the simple reason it has zero effect on anything past the individual! I realize it's the only insult you have for GPhi or APhi but your argument is just irrelevant.

When you have strict grade cuts, you pledge only smart girls. When you pledge smart girls you keep your standards high. When you have high standards, you get the cream of the crop. No self-respecting PNM who aims high would be caught in a house that doesn't take grades seriously. Plus, when you surround yourself with like-minded women, everyone is elevated. Only someone who doesn't care about grades would insist grades don't matter -- because to her they don't.

To 'get serious'.Are you kidding me? When you pledge smart girls you keep your standards high? Well praise the lord all of the smart people in this world don't make mistakes . That is the most ridiculous statement I've ever heard.

There were girls pledging Zeta over KD in my Pi chi group. But there were also a few girls pledging them I've Tri Delt (why? Idk but it's not a lie) there were also some girls who chose them over ADPi and Kappa, and some girls who didn't.

Here's something you'll learn as you get older. What boys think of you isn't the most important thing in the world. Stunning, I know. But some of us like to focus on improving ourselves instead of tailoring our looks and interests for men.

KD has only gotten better. They may not be top in looks, but they they have recruited cuter girls and more social girls. They also place in most competitions and their members are very involved writhin Mizzou and PHA and have decent grades. For average looking girls who are well rounded they're still in middle tier range. Although Zeta has made achievements too. They've improved their grades and have a really successful philanthropy, not to mention their members are slow becoming more well rounded. Though Zeta clearly beats KD in attractiveness, when you break it down wholistically they are not better but are improving none the less

KD has fallen. Five years ago when my sister was Greek here, KD and AXO were interchangeable. Now? AXO is without a doubt better than KD is. They've been on a downward slide since then.

Alpha Phi is ALL OVER this site talking about how great it is. If they spent as much time studying, they might actually have a chance at moving up. right now they are a less-than-average house. They may get some points for looks (though they have a few beasts in that house), but they really drop the ball when it comes to leadership, activities and academics. I don't even know ONE GIRL in that house with a challenging major.
