tri delt, gphi, pi phi

I am only a freshman and I wil ltell you-disregard everything you see on this board..the one house I absolutely had no interest in-because of this board-is the house I ended up LOVING and was lucky enough to end up in. As cliché as it is on lthis board-go in with an open mind-the houses you just named were my top 3-but only after I went through recruitment. I got my number one choice-and it wasn't what your original post had those that were considered top tier...be open to anything!

Yeah maybe pi phi was top in their glory days a long time ago. Going through recruitment will change your perception on what houses you thought were top and which actually are top.

So according to recent post Pi Phi and Tri Delta are Upper Mid? And A Phi and G Phi are top? With the reasoning that has been going on it'd be

The whole "tier system" is in a state of disarray because a lot of chapters are improving and a lot are falling below their typical standards.

The only real well rounded house is Pi Phi so we're kind of forced to chose houses that aren't entirely well rounded.

It's funny, when I was a pnm and I discovered this website everyone loved to bashed gphi sooo much more than any other house

It's phases always, gphi then kappa then aphi then Pi phi. But you're right no one bothers bashing the lower tier girls cause no one worries about them

And most everyone I knew gong through recruitment-honestly ALMOST EVERYONE-backed out of tri delta because they felt it was too 'cliquey" . the girls I know that loved that house-despite what they say on this websire-narrowed it down to gphi, pi phi, alpha phi. again, despite what this website SAYS , most girls were choosing gphi and alpha phi-but pi phi was ALWAYS a top choice with girls too, just not the top choice.

Spot on. Anyone who went through rush this year knows this is totally true. I thought I was going to want to go piphi or tridelt but tridelt was nothing I thought and I didn't fully click with piphi (although I still have a ton of respect for piphi.) I pretty much immediately fell in love with gphi and Aphi during recruitment. My story is a really similar to the girls I went through rush with, Gphi, Pi Phi and APhi just put on a better rush this year. Their PCs reflected that, as did tridelts.

And it really depends on the girl going through. I didn't expect much from tri delt since I'm from out of state and the pep of g phi definitely did not fit my personality but I know girls that loved both of them. It's hard to say which house is the most wanted during recruitment because people are different, and that's why it works.

Clearly you didn't get the memo. Grades don't matter (just ask APhi and GPhi). The only thing that matters is how hot your house is and what the (loser) fraternities think about you.

Yes, let's wait to see how fall grades turn out..assuming your house FOLLOWS protocol this year. Don't think you can get away with it more than 2 semesters in a row-to keep your ranking. You better hope and pray your current pledge class is better than the last you never reported hhhhahhha

One of my friends was outraged that my big hasn't taught me how to fake my grades. How are grades really even relevant? We all know it's fake af, congrats to xo for faking it better than gphi.

Why do grades matter so much when choosing a house? Isn't it more about the girls you are surrounded with and the sisterhood?

My sorority's grades honestly don't matter to me and I'm a 4.0 student. I really don't find it affects me one bit. A lot of bitter girls on here will try to insult the "pretty" chapters (GPhi, APhi) on not having the best grades but it's really because there's just nothing else negative they can say. Both sororities have awesome sisterhood, great social life, incredible philanthropy and really good GPAs overall (much higher than the gdi population.)

Why do grades matter op? Maybe because that's why we are in college and scholarship is a big part of every sororities values. A top house should have more than looks and sisterhood, they should excel in all areas.

You can edit those documents to make it look like your grades were straight A's if you want. Girls who are risk of academic probation tend to do this
