top in grades? really?
by: ConfusedPlease correct me if I'm wrong but people keep sayin Tri Delt is top in grades. As I looked back over the past 2 semesters-they weren't . Am I mis reading this, are people just taking their word for granted-but it looks like for 2nd semester last year they were 5th-but again, I might be mis reading this, but I don't think so

You're missing the point. The differences between grades at the top is minute. And what's most important is that the top houses -- TriDelt, XO, PiPhi, Theta, ADPi -- all have strict grades cuts during rush. You can't get in if your GPA isn't among the best. And, considering how APhi is all over this board insisting they are better than Tri Delt, the most relevant question is where does APhi rank in grades??????

The more Alpha Phi insists its top tier because they have pretty girls, the bigger the joke they are. You do realize, don't you Alpha Phi, that top girls who are pretty don't want to pledge a house whose only attribute is looks. You are shooting yourself in the foot. Aim a little higher. This isn't the way to improve.

I'm not a TriDelt. I am merely standing up for a top tier house and explaining to those who don't understand that being a great house means you have to have more than looks.

The thing is, looks were their claim to fame so now that they've lost it they don't have anything going for them. There are many reasons a house might be top BUT that was tridelta's. You're top because you shine in some way or another but they made the mistake of recruiting girls for their zip code instead of substance (be that looks, intelligence, personality.)

Reality check everyone on here is hating on tridelt, not Alpha Phi. Since for one Alpha Phi has never been called the top house on here, they've just been called PRETTY. DDD is but hurt cause they used to be the prettiest and now that they aren't their chapter isn't really shining because it was previously their claim to fame. You are the ones shooting yourselves in the foot here. Top houses DON'T make 12001 posts on GR about how they are top tier. They don't need to. So keep going on and on, you're digging your hole deeper and deeper. You're lucky it's not recruitment right now because you look so desperate.
