things change

you can go ahead and call me a loser because I am writing this at midnight on a Thursday night before finals. Truth be told I am actually working, have studied and have a lull in my night.
Newsflash to all-things change. I've been here 'a while' and as I work observing so many changes, here is what I will say.
Ranks change every few years. Ranks are changing even faster these days because there are so many amazing girls coming in with the 'whole package'(hate that term on this site). Most girls coming in knowing they should have a 3.5 gpa to begin with(4 years ago it was a 3.0-those are the upper classmen). They know they must have a ton of volunteering, work experience etc. 4 years ago about 25% of the girls rushing had that-now 80plus percent have that! The majority of the girls coming in are beautiful, have a great gpa and all around amazing resume. Many of those top girls coming in-especially the supposedly "beautiful" accomplished girl-doesn't neccesarily want to go to the most competitive top house-they want to make a name for themselves and this year especially chose houses where they KNOW they can bring something special and make a name for themselves. Bottom line-I am a lower tier house as you all would say-but I am definitely privy to see this change and its good-REALLY good-for my house!
