It's not that Aphi doesn't have a lot of cute girls, it's that they're trying to compare themselves to the likes of houses like gphi and tridelt, which they don't really even hold a candle to. Not that Tri delt and gphi have just 100% attractive girls because they don't either, but they have a lot more super attractive girls rather than a decent amount of alright-cute girls like Aphi. So yeah it's really annoying when they try to peg themselves as an undeniable hot house and make that their identity. That is not your identity.

So glad someone brought this up! Alpha Phi has been getting away with these lies for too long. Yes they have pretty girls but are no prettier than DG or AXO and definitely not on Tri Delt or GPHi or Pi Phi level. They may look pretty from far away but once you get up close they aren't any cuter than the rest.

Lol are you crazy! They are definitely better looking than DG and AXO (no offence, both of those are strong in their own ways) and I'm not sure where anyone said that they're prettier than Pi Phi or GPhi? The last post where people freaked out, they freeked out because APhi's "word" was pretty. Yes Aphi's are pretty. Pi Phi's were also labelled things such as the full package, setting the bar, etc. That includes being gorgeous, intelligent, overachievers. So relax, I personally labelled them pretty because that's the main thing they have going for them. Idk why everyone goes nuts when the word pretty gets thrown around, most sororities were given more prestigious "words" than that! Y'all are on some mad APhi hate here, relax, most of the houses here are super gorgeous!

pi phi is literally also so overrated in looks. so overrated. great house, but looks are not their claim to fame. theres a lot of really homely girls in that house they took for the right reasons.

It is true that the upperclassmen aphi aren't as good looking as the freshman class. However the freshman have potential to recruit more good looking girls in the following year. I would say this house is on the rise and a lot of other houses feel threatened by it.

one of my good friends is in the freshman pledge class and they do have a lot of gorgeous girls in that class. I would say they're freshman are in no question just as good looking as any other top house

And as that may be true, the still have two pledge classes that are sub par in the looks departments. So until those classes graduate and if they can keep up with getting cute girls then they can be in the competition for top 3 cutest girls.
But being a top house overall? Absolutely not until they can get their grades up. They have one of the worst GPAs of all sororities.

You are absolutely correct. Having good grades does not make you a good sorority -- in an of itself. But having a grade cutoff helps. It is the first step toward being selective and having high standards. And APhi has a long way to go before it is either. Truly, its abysmal gpa is what is keeping Alpha Phi from being taken seriously. And we all know that there are hundreds and hundreds of pretty girls who go through rush who also are smart and well-rounded. APhi just needs to raise its standards. Otherwise it will always be known as the pretty, dumb house.

They're the prettiest. I'm sure many of you can attest you might have had 2 or 3 of these chapters on preference because they all aim to recruit pretty girls.
The rest of the chapters at mizzou aim their recruitment toward values and involvement so they have a smaller amount of really pretty girls and mainly have cute, average or asthetically challenged girls.

Really zeta? This is a very very old stereotype (when you guys were "the hottest girls in bottom tier") . Zeta is bottom in looks, tied with SK. If you're an alum, please get off this site. Things have changed. Zeta isn't know has the pretty and crazy house of bottom tier anymore. Now they're just crazy.

Tied with SK? No. Look at zeta tumblr and sk tumblr and you'll see the difference. Sigma kappa has a few pretty girls but most are average at the best or just not cute at all. They recruit on values not looks. Zeta on the other hand has mainly really pretty girls with couple average looking girls and the occasional hand full of less prettier girls have slipped through. They're no gphi but they do succeed in getting their pick of a good amount of pretty girls. Not an alum just stating the facts

Zeta has made huge strides. They are beautiful(maybe not the first pick, but beautiful none the less) they make amazing grades and are very social on campus with ALL sororities and frats. what is the problem with them? just another hater, I guess

This has been going on for the past year and I haven't posted until 2 weeks ago so um no it wasn't me and Aphi only makes top 5, never once have I seen them ranked top so it's probably not Alpha Phi, sweet pea
