So I'm transferring to Mizzou next semester and was initiated into my current sorority here. The thing is the initiated is so quickly that I didn't get a feel for my sorority at all as well as they didn't mention the whole it's for life thing! I know everyone says it's impossible but I really want to rush again here and I've heard of people in this situation who have somehow got out of it! Does anyone know some loopool or way I can do this.. Please help me I'm desperate! I'm not a bad person I just don't think it's fair my sorority here initiated me so dang early and didn't warn us about everything! So please some help! Thankyou!

Unfortunately once you're initiated into an NPC sorority you can't be initiated into another.

Does your sorority have a chapter here at Mizzou? If they do, it it probably unlike the chapter at your previous school.. Thus you could always affiliate, and see if you like the Mizzou chapter better!

I think you have to wait a full calendar year since the day you dropped to be able to rush again, so most likely no. Unless you. Can transfer to a chapter here!

Obviously you know the reputation of your house here at Mizzou and it ain't good, is it? Which one? A bottom tier here? Or why else wouldn't you just transfer into the Mizzou chapter?

If you can't find something to love about a house you chose, perhaps YOU are the problem.

That's just stupid. Chapters are completely different everywhere you go. I'm guessing your standing up for bottom tier sororities so in that case, what if you chapter was a bunch of super shallow Barbie dolls? Would you have anything in common with them? You're supposed to fit in with your sisters and I know there's chapters out there that I wouldn't really feel at home with. But unfortunately I don't think there's a way around the rules, you can hope you won't get caught but that seems really unlikely :(

There isn't a sorority in the world that has only one type of person. There is no house on this campus or any other that is made up exclusively of "super shallow Barbie dolls." Every group of women has a range of people with a range of interests, strengths and weaknesses. Stereotyping is never true 100% of the time. If you are in a pledge class of 30 or 50 or 70 women, you should be able to find some common ground. If you can't, yes, you probably are the problem.
