Why does everyone think old people and alumni are all over this site? How can you tell if it isn't a student? I'm confused.......

i was honestly wondering the same thing. I've posted on here a couple times in the past few weeks and both times people replied "you're CLEARLY an alum" or something along those lines.

I'm not an alum... I'm a junor. People make up the most random sh i t on here lol.

That happened to be before too! I think it's just people trying to be insulting/suggest we're irrelevant because they don't like our opinion lol

I think what's really sick is when an OP comes back and gives herself all sorts of pats on the back. I mean, who does that? Only someone with way too much time on her hands who is way too invested in her own opinion. In other words, some old f a r t who won't let it rest.

I think it's because for some reason a small percentage of people think that the sorority tiers have suddenly changed and if you dare to suggest that they haven't (which they haven't) then you're labeled as an "alum" haha.

Tiers take years and years, if not upwards of a decade to change. 1-2 really bad or 1-2 really good freshman PCs won't make or break a house, and neither will winning Greek week or homecoming or getting bad/good grades a semester or two in a row. Reputations take years to change and so do tiers. People are just getting really ahead of themselves.

If you ask anyone older, a real alum lol, they'll tell you that 10 years ago the houses' reputations were very similar to what they are now. Unless there's some huge scandal or something of the sort, a chapter usually does not drastically change. That's all.

Fact is that while one PC can't change a tier, two can, three DEFINITELY can... 2 poor PCs mean half of your sorority is no good. You cant maintain top tier with 50% crappy girls. I've called out alums as alum due to their rankings and they admitted it, everyone on campus knows the tiers have changed a lot in recent years.
