I'm a Senior at Mizzou and realize that a lot of High School Seniors are busy looking at their college options and deciding where to go in the Fall. A lot of you might be doing research online and you probably stumbled across this website if you're researching Greek life at Mizzou.
There is a person that has poisoned this site and I wanted to alert you to this. She comments on virtually every thread and you can always tell it's her by how condescending she is towards other people's opinions - whether it's about sorority rankings, the protest, politics, or really any topic. Please don't think that we are all as small-minded as she is. She doesn't represent the student body here and certainly she doesn't represent me. We are overall a very welcoming campus, from the students to the faculty and you will be very happy if you choose Mizzou. She is the type of person that will never be happy. She will always find fault with anyone who doesn't share her very narrow opinion. She is actually the type of person who, ten years from now, might "go postal" at her place of business because she can't tolerate people who might have a different viewpoint. She scorns previous generations and has no respect for the path they have laid out for her. Like I said, she is poisonous. Read these posts with the knowledge that she is one person, and Mizzou has thousands of students that don't agree with her and hate the way she makes us look on this website.

I doubt it is one person, I am certain they have a significant amount of pride in their school, their choices and the millennial generation and I am quite sure you are one of the older people who feels the need to tell us what they should think and feel. And to imply that someone who disagrees with you will probably "go postal" is irresponsible since YOU seem to be the person who can't tolerate a diversity of opinion. Truly, find another hobby. Cuz your schtick is getting old.

Current students are just as perceptive. We know when we're being scammed. When did this become a site for alums with regrets, telling us how to live our lives. I'm so over it.

Stop trying to cover your tracks by attempting to convince us that these posts are all from alums or the "old people". I think OP is right and that a lot of the rants on here sound like they could be coming from the same person. -YOU!

I'm pretty sure there's like many many people who call people alum, I've called people alum who've left rankings that are clearly the past and they've even admitted to being alum. Sometimes you just know

Whether you call them alums or old people, it couldn't be more obvious that they aren't students. What student in their right mind would deliver long-winded lectures on this site telling other students what to do or think? Most of us just don't take things that seriously.

Someone offering a little advice to a peer is one thing. It's an entirely different thing when someone who is not on this campus now lectures us how we should behave and what we should think. Walk a mile in our shoes, Granny, and I guarantee you will not be so judgmental.
