by: MENow we know that a whole bunch of people think Theta and ADPi shouldn't be top tier and that TriDelt and XO are iffy, too. (I don't really agree with those opinions but, whatever). So, then, in everyone's opinion just what does it take to be top tier?

Imo...there is no thing as top tier. Every house has different qualities to offer that appeal to different people. Thats why there is more than one house to join. The top is the one that is right for you. Anyone who is still worried about which house is "most popular" is still living in a middle school mindset.

lol i still think kappa is a top tier material type house. even more so after all the crap you guys talk on them. they must be some kind of threat if you don't want to leave them alone even when they're quiet. you literally obsess over them. its craziness.

well, AXO, you see, pi phi is more popular. They're less try hard. they're smart, they get top notch girls without even really trying and they're confident. G phi is just g phi. you can't call them top because there is just too many mixed emotions on this house. they aren't smart, they're scandalous, they don't really have a strong sense of morals... its all a perception. axo and gphi don't give off strong perceptions.

What in the world makes you think I am in any of the houses mentioned? I was asking what the elusive quality is, not expecting a rant against those houses.

I think the difference is that a handful of houses go into rush knowing exactly who and what they want. If their grades slipped a bit they rush for grades. If they bombed in Greek Week events they pick up a few athletic girls. If they rushed for grades the year before they might concentrate a bit more on looks. And the thing is, the top houses get whoever they want so they can mold their house any way they need to.
