gphi considering tranferring
by: curiousI'm considering transferring here because the journalism program is so much better than the school I'm at, and I'm a gamma phi. I want to transfer into the chapter there but I don't know anyone, can anyone tell me what the chapter here is like?

gphi is a ok middle tier house that is well known for being very social, pretty, and partying. Overall, their grades and involvement around campus is non-existant, HOWEVER, I have wonderful friends in the house that are very bright ladies with 4.0's and difficult majors. When you're in a house of 300 women, you're going to find your niche no matter what. So while the majority of the house is known as "G-Phrat", you'll find all types of girls. I would also add that these girls are some of the most fun and friendly people you will meet! They don't know a single stranger. On the other side, my friends in the house have told me superficial their sisterhood is. I'm not many gphi's that stay with the house all 4 years, and many of them don't hang out with each other.

Honestly thinks G Phi is mid tier but most people think they're a top tier house. It doesn't really matter to anyone - not you - you're already in that sorority, and not to the G Phis either because I can't see them caring how other girls rank their house. Just trying to give you a fuller picture.

Besides the hate spewing Kappa, who doesn't think Gphi is a top house? Everyone I know does. This is the only place in the world that anyone would dispute that and here only because it's anonymous.

I'm not transferring for the sorority, but I'm trying to see if the chapter here is worth transferring into, or instead just going alumni status, if I do decide to come here. But thank you.
