You my friend are the ignorant one. I graduated from that fine university two years ago and am out in the real world working at a real job with real people who are equally as sick and tired of the college kids whining as I am. My sister goes to MU and it makes my whole family sick to see people like you running around spewing ignorance and acting like everything that happens to minorities today is because of slavery. Jonathan Butler could have used his money and influence as an EXAMPLE to others of how it IS POSSIBLE to be successful as a person of color in America. Instead of doing that, he is using it to create another generation of victims who love to blame anyone they can for the fact that they may have to work for something in their lives. I never implied that minorities haven't worked hard also, only that there are people of every race that have hardships in life. There have been many oppressed people in history, both in the US and abroad, and nothing can change what happened. The only thing that can make a difference is for people today to keep working to make a better life for themselves and their families and not blaming someone else when things don't go their way.

It shows in your name calling. You really need to learn how to have a conversation with someone who disagrees with you without spewing all of the hateful venom that you claim to be above. And you really need to learn how to read. It was never even implied that Jonathan Butler was not successful. Just that he is using his success to create a new generation of victims instead of teaching people to make it on their own.
