is there accountability
by: ShockedThe mizzou student body president admittedly put a false statement on social media stating he had confirmed that the kkk was on campus and that he was talking with campus police as well as the national guard. Within minutes of that social media post and text messages received, 15-20+ ra's and others in supervisory roles left their floors or positions of supervision to seek a safe place off of campus because they feared for their life. Residence halls were left unsupervised and other positions vacated because of one persons knowingly false statement. Does anyone realize the severity of this? All because of a false statement by one of our 'leaders'? With the racial tension as well as fear that was felt by ALL students Tuesday night during that state of high alert, we should all be thanking God that this situation ended well.

If you know of an RA or any other person in a supervisory position who left their floor/position, complain immediately. With those jobs come responsibility. That's the way of the world, and part of being an adult. They should be removed immediately from whatever position they currently hold.

What is the consequence for the student body president? Why is there not an outcry for his lying and fear mongering? Is there not anyone else that's mad that he's making up things to scare his friends with? Doesn't anyone care? I think he's the biggest jerk at MU and needs to be expelled.
