spring rush

I am currently a freshman girl who is transferring into Mizzou second semester (could not attend first semester due to health issues)! I was wondering who could fill me in on the informal process for the 2016 Spring Rush. Who will be participating? How does it work? Do I have less of a chance because I'm a transfer/ it is spring rush? Anything to help me out would be amazing. Thank you so much!
