You really need to understand that you have a long way to go before you are a top pick among the best PNMs. A good place to start would be getting off this site and instead improving your sisterhood. Theta has a very strong image or "brand." It stands for something and has a distinct image, which is why it is top tier. When Kappa stands for something other than being on this site 24/7, then it will be top tier.

The numbers are out there. The stats are well-known, whether panhell wants people to know about them or not. But OhMyGod clearly isn't privy to them. If she were she would know that neither Kappa nor GPhi are high on the list when it comes to final day pref lists. That doesn't mean they aren't good houses and it doesn't mean that their members don't grow to love them. That's just the way it is. Houses with a much higher percentage of #1 choices are those that are most often listed as top tier: ChiO, PiPhi, TriDelt, Theta and ADPi (in random order). I agree with the OP who says our sorority system is commendable. In fact, it is the envy of many universities. There is no shame in being mid-tier or bottom-tier at our school because there are so many women who go through rush and wind up without a house. It is just that competitive. So let's, for once, be content where we are and not try to be something we're not.
