Steer-Co did not help us with anything. They were supposed to but never came by. We put those up ourselves.

The Steerco boys DID help KD with their scaffolding but did not help SK, who also didn't have any boys to help them. And in the end SK's boards fell because their scaffolding wasn't secure. Seems a bit unfair to me that Steerco was clearing favoring one of our disadvantaged sororities over the other.

It's because KD had a ton of girls on Steerco and used it to help them cheat.

I'm in a house that didn't place, but would it really have mattered if KD didn't place? If Sigma really was 6th, then SK still most likely wouldn't have placed regardless. Thats super screwed up if KD got help and SK didn't though if that's true but not a big enough deal to get heated about it because SK still wouldn't have placed.

It's not about placing. It's about the clear favoritism that is constantly shown to some houses over others. Whether in competitions or leaneancy with punishments or letting people get away with dirty rushing. It's constant.

The sigma thing is just a rumor read on greekchat, nothing remotely official... And ZTA, DG and SK did way better than sigma so there's no way it's true. And yeah maybe SK was or wasn't sixth, but maybe if their house decs that they put up themselves hadn't fallen they would've been closer to the top?? But we'll never know how their house decs really would've done because they fell

It's been the same story year after year. There's always favoritism to certain houses. Look at the houses represented on PHA and the steering committees. There are highly qualified girls from other houses who interview for these positions but year after year the same houses have members on these committees and the next year they pick another one of their sisters to replace them. And of course you have an advantage when it comes to the very subjective judging involved in Honecoming and Greek Week when you have members in these positions.

How about setting the example this year and actually selecting some members for exec board that aren't from the same few houses that all of you are in? I'm pretty sure we would all survive.

Each house had the opportunity to ask for outside help. KD did and steerco granted it as long as the help was coming from people not affiliated in another pairing. They had help from non-Greeks and ATO. Steerco did help them with scaffolding and told them that they were helping SK too.
KD did a great job. I'm sorry your house didn't place but don't target a house that deserved it.
