did the hoco houses deserve to place?
by: curiousIts obvious that ADPi deserved first. They were good all around, my own house thought they should win! AXO was the "surprise house" this year, like Phi Mu was last year. Not because they weren't good, but because a lot of the bottom tier houses are really underestimated! I think KD definitely deserved third, they were great, esp without a pairing. KKG was a surprise to everyone... even Kappa. And I think Chi O deserved their spot, even though FH didn't. I personally think the rankings were completely accurate this year, except maybe instead of Kappa, it should have been another underdog house such as Sigma or Zeta. I want to know others' opinions!

AXO isn't bottom, I'm sorry. Definitely not top either though. I don't really get why people are surprised they placed considering how competitive (for the most part) they've been the past few years.

I kind of agree w the original post that axo is bottom tier. they were the lowest house about 5 years ago and they've definitely improved! but from what I've seen, they aren't attractive, they aren't very smart, and a lot of them are kinda low key crazy. idk, I'm sure there are good ones in there, but other than putting on a good recruitment, there is nothing impressive about them.

First of all, AXO has never been at the bottom of the barrel. Even at their worst they were considered above PhiMu, Sigma, Zeta and SK. The past few years they have made great strides to the point that their return rates are in the same league as GPhi, DG and Kappa, which makes them solidly middle tier. Plus, their sisterhood is strong and they are among the houses that lose the fewest number of girls as the year progresses. The OP might not like that, but, hey, facts are facts.

Casual reminder that this is only college and the tiers don't even matter. The only people who talk about tiers are people who have nothing else to be proud of

Go check out the Mizzou homecoming page. They posted a video with all the placements and zeta is now 5th place and chi-o lost their placement.
