In 1999 Sigma Kappa competed in HOCO by themselves and placed fourth. Although KD may have been the chapter with the highest placement, they were not the first house to place without a pairing.

Yup! KD is the second house in Mizzou history to place without a pairing and they've placed the highest of any sorority without a pairing.

It is really disgusting that they gave FH/Chi-O an overall ranking top five. It sends an absolute message that doing what FH did is "okay" ... You should be really ashamed of yourselves, whoever allowed this.

I understand where you're coming from, but it would really su ck for all of the rest of the two chapters that put in so much hard work and did nothing wrong to not be able to place.

Actually we had 5 whole days that we weren't allowed to do anything because of Delt Sigs meetings with nationals. Then it took a day or two to get everything from their house to ours. We had 2 days to redo our entire skit and dance. We were without men for about 2 weeks.

If you're not a KD you literally have no way to know the situation. Instead of being rude you should congratulate the house for stepping up in a rough situation.

Let's be clear. Delt Sig's pledges as well as actives did a ton of work! KD really stepped it up at the end but a TON of work was done by Delt Sigs too.

Good job to KD for placing solidly in third! I know it's gotta be tough having your pairing screw you over and you ladies really overcome in the final hour to ensure that your hard work didn't go to waste. And shout out to SK as well for persevering through your own drama with Sig Nu. Even though you didn't place, you ladies also did amazingly well for a house with little HOCO experience and no pairing at the end as well. Nice to see our sorority women doing so well when others fail them.

This is an important discussion. The houses should be able to decide who places in each category. That seems more fair. Think like "Stick It". That could really bring as all together.

Honestly don't think KD would have placed if they were paired with delt sig through the end

Delt Sig dropped out so late in the game that it wouldn't have mattered. If anything they might've done better in talent or would've placed the same. The got all blood and service points and placed in house decs and float, two of the other biggest categories. With or without Delt sig their float/decs were good.
