houses

I don't understand why its so hard for people to believe that certain girls could like houses that aren't top houses. That makes no sense to me at all. Being apart of a chapter is about being in the one that fits who YOU are and it matters if YOU like it. Who cares if a girl really wants zeta or tri sig or phi mu. If a girl went into the house and she felt like she belonged there I don't understand why she should be ridiculed for that. Just because one of those houses aren't for you doesn't mean they aren't for someone else. Every girl she be able to go into a house and feel at HOME. Isn't that what being in a sorority is about? Finding your HOME. Im so tired of seeing girls on this sight get ripped apart because it is just so impossible for a girl to have actually liked ZTA. Why is that impossible? Why is it impossible for a girl to feel at home there?Just because a lower tier house wasn't right for you why can't it be right for someone else? All through recruitment they take about "greek love", and all this website does is let people continue to stereotype sorority women. And its not just the mizzou page but other schools too. We sit here and are ridiculed for begin apart of greek life but this website is the perfect representation of our stereotypes. Mizzou has INCREDIBLE greek life and ANY women would be lucky to be apart of. Over 1,800 young women rushed this year and some girls were devastated when they got dropped and would have been happy with any single house!

Apparently that wouldn't create any fun for the trolls! We all do understand that. Irl no one cares.

finding a sisterhood is what matters, not how "popular" a house is on Greek Rank. I do have sympathy for a few posters who may have relied on GR to pick their houses and now are posting about feeling left out :(. How much a house parties, how hot the members are, or how "upper tier" a house is means NOTHING if you feel lonely and left out in it. I truly hope every Mizzou woman who desires to be involved in Greek life finds a home where she belongs, feels loved, and feels that she matters.
