by: ExplainI know not everything on this site is accurate and that there are dumb stereotypes, and I read on here how Chi Os are "chubby and homely," but the majority of Chi Os I've seen in pictures and around campus and in my dorm are really pretty or cute. Like naturally pretty more than "hot" like GPhi (AKA girls who are tan year round and wear a ton of makeup). The girls I talked to at Chi O during recruitment were both beautiful and very friendly. Of course there are some that are not as pretty, but every house has those. I'm just confused where this stereotype comes from, because looking around the house during recruitment, there were far more thin, attractive girls than chubbier, not-as-cute ones. And I went there on Pref day and was surrounded by other pretty PNMs, so I'm assuming they got an attractive PC. I don't mean to sound superficial, I'm just curious. Chi O cut me but I ended up in a house that I love!

You're clearly a chi o freshman trying to create a new stereotype for your house so you can feel pretty.
While I'll agree with you the whole "chubby" thing is overdone, there aren't a whole lot of jaw dropping attractive girls in your house at all. You recruit more based on personality and wit rather than looks. That's just how you are.

I am LMFAO because someone thinks Kappas aren't on this site all of the time blabbing. They are addicted to this site. In fact, they would rather be on this site than doing just about anything else. So, nice try. But we know better.

No one ever said they weren't. They're just not stupid enough to just say "ya girl im a kappa but wish I was a chi o! But love my house still LOLZ!" Like no. Nobody does that.... That is clearly a set up

Bottom line - Chi O has never been known for having beautiful girls. They are smart, driven, athletic, etc. but not pretty. That's not their thing and who gives a $hit. Is being pretty going to get you an internship?? (Hello - Delta, GPhi, APhi,???)

Think what you will, but our social chairman deals with SOCIALS, not this silly site. I was just posting an observation. I did love Chi O during recruitment, but I'm glad I ended up where I did and I'm proud to be a Kappa. My house is full of beautiful, accomplished, fun women.

shut up, liarr. i know you're not a kappa. kappas aren't obsessed with chi o. kappas are obsessed with themselves. so you're just a chi o trying to get compliments on chi o pretending to be a kappa because thats always the go to house to pretend to be in on here for some reason.

Actually, I think Kappas ARE obsessed with ChiO -- and TriDelt and PiPhi and Theta and any other house where they really wanted to wind up on Bid Day.

There are just as many smart and driven girls in Tri Delt, GPhi, and APhi. They are prettier and not as socially awkward as most Chi Os. And yes, being pretty will get you the internship every time.

There's plenty of pageant queens in aphi and tri delt who also excel in academics in order to be able to compete in them- your point?

Dude. Kappa just doesn't recruit girls that just openly blab about being on here like this, I'm sorry. I'm not buying it. They have a social chairman that literally prohibits any access to sites like this whatsoever according to my roommate from last year, who ACTUALLY is one and doesn't just pretend to be. You're just not fooling anyone. I think I've seen someone say "uh, I'm a kappa" on here like 5 times this week in some comment. Just stop stop stop. They're not shallow/dumb enough to talk like this even if you think they are.
