informal rush for sororities
by: heydoes anyone know which sororities are for sure doing informal rush this spring or is it too soon to say?

It's a little early. Most do informal based on if anyone drops in the fall, that'll determine how many girls they'll COB. Usual sororities that do informal are: Phi Mu, Sigma, and Theta. Last year AXO and APhi did but it all depends on how things go this semester.

That's not true. And my sister is in another house and her house didn't, either. Informal rush is done for a variety of reasons. sometimes it's because a lot of new girls drop and sometimes it's because a bunch of upperclasswomen (is that a word?) go inactive. It also is done when a house is financially on the edge and if they need every penny they can get. Some houses refuse to do informal rush because they are financially sound and/or they don't want the negative stereotype.

I think you meant zeta, not theta. Theta doesn't cob. Zeta always does.
