by: confusedWhen I registered for recruitment, I had to upload a copy of my final transcript from high school. I went online to my school's grade accessing website, and it was closed for the summer. The registrar at my high school was also out for the summer, so I had no way to access my final transcript. As a solution, I uploaded a transcript that included all of my grades, GPA, and class rank from freshman, sophomore, junior, and FIRST semester of senior year only. Is this why I could have been cut from all sororities this morning? My pi chi called me this morning and told me I had been released and was devastated. I don't mean to brag, but I really am smart and had great conversations with so many houses. Is this why I was cut?

^^^^this. Call your Pi Chi ASAP and have her get in touch with the advisor who oversaw bid matching. If you really did list every pref house on your card, you should have matched.
If you didn't list them all, then this is what happens when you don't maximize your options unfortunately.

Of course she didn't. She just doesn't like the natural results of suiciding. No technicality here. She just didn't maximize the options she had left.

There is a possibility that the houses didn't all make quota. Email the recruitment chairs or the sororities letting them know you are still available. They will consider you if they have open spots . Don't expect an answer from all of them, but they can reevaluate your information. You may have been a close last cut for them or you got lost in the first shuffle and may be a good fit for them.

All houses made quota so this is a bad idea.
She needs to get her Pi Chi in touch with the Panhellenic advisor who oversaw bid matching ASAP.

Usually grade cuts are earlier in the process. I am guessing that you didn't list all of the chapters on your bid card.
If you did maximize, contact Panhellenic now and have them look into this. As for COB, Panhellenic will have a list of sororities participating, and they will tell you how to contact them.

So now we know that Little Miss Maximize Your Options doesn't really know what she is talking about because I listed all three and I was cut, too. I got the call this morning. I am devastated that I went through all of this and was certain I would get a bid and now am mortified. I don't know what went wrong but I sure wish we hadn't been mislead. I hope this woman understands how hurtful her uninformed comments were.

If you listed all your options on your preference card and didn't do something seriously egregious, please call the panhellinc office.

Some of us tried to warn you all that you CAN be cut at any point and that a bid to greek life is not a guarantee.

So you went to pref parties last night, listed all those houses on your pref card, and were released this morning?
From the RFM figures I saw this morning, many girls withdrew last night or SIP'd and were not matched, but no PNM's who maximized their options were released.
If this really happened to you (and I'm thinking you're just a sad troll), you need to contact your Pi Chi and the Panhellenic president ASAP so they can figure out what happened.

Most houses are above total so only a select few houses will maybe do COB.
