snap bid?

do any of the houses here ever offer snap bids. People have said that may be an option for me, but I don't want to get my hopes up if it really doesn't happen here. If some houses do give snap bids how would I let them know I would be open to that?

No, it's not likely to be an option. In order for houses to snap bid, they have to not make quota during bid matching. In that situation, they are allowed to snap up to quota before Bid Day events start. Last year, only 1 house did not make quota. Every year there are rumors that top houses had to snap bid but the reality is that doesn't happen.
IF snap bidding were an option for you, a house that doesn't make quota would have to pick you. Chances are you think you're too good to join the bottom house on campus even if it is your only and last chance to be Greek.
Also, in the extremely rare event that a top or mid house is eligible for snap bids, they would look at the list of girls they invited back during the week who didn't accep the invitation, not girls they already cut. If you're dreaming of a snap bid to a house that cut you, it's NOT going to happen!

I actually happened to get a snap bit from the house I really wanted that cut me after I dropped out. They said it was something that literally never happens.
