So you're going through rush this year and want to find a place to fit in and feel at home. Everyone wants to be in the top houses, but not everyone will be extended a bid to their number 1 choice. So what do you do when you're cut from your number one? Here's a list of houses that you may feel comfortable in based on similarities:
If you like delta, try
Mid: Gphi
Bottom: zeta
If you like, DG or aphi, try
Bottom: SK
If you like pi phi, try
Mid: axo
Bottom: sk
If you like chi o, try
Mid: axo, Adpi
Bottom: sk, phi mu
If you like theta, try
Mid: KD
Bottom: phi mu
Overall similar houses:
Well rounded: axo, Adpi, pi phi
Academically oriented and hard working: Theta, KD, kappa
Most social houses: Delta, Gphi, DG, aphi, zeta
Strong sisterhood: axo, KD, phi mu

I can't imagine someone not getting into DG or Alpha Phi. Both are low-middle tier. I also can't imagine someone with theta's standards opting for PhiMu, with its less than stellar gpa. I also can't see someone who has PiPhi in their sites settling for SK. And ADPi is bordering on top tier and is quite selective. It's not most people's second or third choice.

did you read what the OP wrote? if a PNM doesn't make the cut at their first choice, the chapters listed below them would make good second or third choices. No, phi mu doesn't have stellar grades like theta. But they both offer good sisterhoods and are hardworking. same with SK, of course they're no pi phi, but they both offer diverse sisterhoods that value being unique. I don't think you got the point to the entire thread...
