It all depends on whether you are going for quality or quantity. There are quality nationals like Theta, PiPhi and Kappa who only want to be at major universities. And then there are houses like SK, GPhi and PhiMu who just want to have a lot of chapters, even at small state schools. I would rather be in a house with a limited number of successful, quality chapters than one who strives to colonize any-old-where.

The list is based on return rates and popularity according to PNM's going through rush. These are the houses on a national basis that girls want to join :)

The truth is that all the large sororities have a national presence and no one house dominates the others. "National Ranking" is a label that some houses use to make themselves feel better about not being very popular on their campus.

I think OP wasn't try to prove a point, but celebrating how we have so many of the most desired houses. It's real.
