As a PNM, you hear far too many of the Mizzou recruitment horror stories. SO I want the truth...recommendation letters, how much do they really matter?? I only got two simply because I don't know many alumna. I'm extremely happy with the two houses I do have them for. Grade Cuts, i"ve heard everything from 3.0 and up you're fine (minus theta kappa pi phi) and things like 3.4 for all of them? How strict is that?
Also, is it true that most houses already have their pledge classes picked? I've heard of a house that does recs by girls currently in the house and they have a secret Facebook page where they each posted about a girl, and basically that's their pledge class. At this point, rush doesn't feel fun at all, just scary...

It's too late for you to get rec letters. Grade cuts pertain to the sorority and that is not public information. Same with the pledge class. The only thing you can do right now is go through recruitment with confidence. You'll learn everything else later.

No one has their pledge classes picked. They haven't met yet! Stop listening to rumors. Be your best self at EVERY house during recruitment. Don't listen to what other pnm's think. It's YOUR recruitment, not theirs. Think about what you can offer a house, not what they can offer you. Chill out and have fun with it. Good luck!
