If the DG's are getting a new house it will make their chapter stronger in the end. When sororities get new houses they most likely will be prepared to put your entire pledge class in either a bunch of appartments together, or if theres another house on campus not being used they sometimes live there. It will make both DG and Zeta very desirable after they're done with new houses. So try not to let it affect your decision too much because everyone rebuilds eventually

We get it. You don't like DG. Stop posting the same thing over and over on various threads about the living arrangements and cost. I'm sure that anyone considering DG or Zeta on pref day will be fully informed but it's really none of your business.

It DOESN'T MAKE your chapter stronger in the end! Seriously?? Do you think having 90+ girls living in random apartments builds sisterhood? I would never have joined a sorority and paid all of the money it costs to be a member if I knew I would never have a chance to live in a sorority house. I just hope Zeta & DG are honest with the incoming freshman.

As a pnm im coming in pretty open minded about the new DG and zeta houses being built. They'll look beautiful and I don't think it's that big a deal where I live if im still with my sisters. And it sounds like they would work on figuring that out.

Yea, I'm sure you'll be really happy living in a $hittly apartment like Ross or some condemned house on East Campus while your friends who pledged APhi, TriDelt, Gphi, PiPhi, KD, etc. are living in a beautiful sorority house. Not to mention the monthly bills you'll receive for a building you'll rarely step foot in.

Oh boo hoo. One pledge class gets the shi.tty end of the stick. Every house needs to be heavily renovated or rebuilt at some point. If you don't join a house because you think your sosterhood will suffer then you are pthetic. Sorry you might have to put yourself out there a little more to be a sister? It might SLIGHTLY weaken constant bonding for a year but it comes back in full force the next because you have a brand new freaking House to all enjoy togeher. SO, you can either complain about not having a "sisterhood" because apparently having a "sisterhood" requires you to live in one big crappy house together, or you can deal with it for semester and possibly be one of the most desirable houses during rush the next year and the next and the next and so on. NEW HOUSES ARE GOOD. If you're stuck on not being crammed together for a year, don't rush because you're annoying and nobody will want you.

Clearly someone is threatend by DG and Zeta getting new houses. Why? Worry about the character of your own sisterhood before you try to tear others down. Clearly PNMs should worry about the houses that poor character before worrying about new houses. Everyone has to rebuild sometime. It's a positive thing for Mizzou Greek Life!

Remember it is NOT the house(s) or apartment(s) that make the sorority. They are just physical structures. It's the women inside those structures that make the sorority. So when going through rush, member to look at the overall sisterhood and say to yourselves....are these the girls I want to call my sisters???

NO ONE, not even Tri Sig is threatened by DG or Zeta. And it TOTALLY SUCKS not having house - but have fun paying for it for the next 20 years of your life!

Obviously you feel threatened by DG and are extremely jealous to keep posting the same type of comments. You aren't saying anything that PNMs haven't already considered but just focusing on the worst scenarios. You don't have a clue as to where DG will be putting their girls next year or how much their bills will be so why not give it a rest.
