They're not cliquey at all if you're from a popular stl high school!!!!!

We're not just talking STL as a whole but mainly west county STL. Not many people from north or south county or southern Illinois for that matter

I always laugh when people say they are from West County instead of St. Louis, as if that somehow elevates their status. The thing is, the median price of a home in the West County suburbs is less than the median price of a home in some of Chicago's worst suburbs, so what exactly are they boasting about? Most of the StL suburbs are about as generic as you can get, with the possible exception of Town and Country and parts of Ladue. When I go there the whole area strikes me as one big overbuilt highway, totally devoid of charm. So TriDelt can have its members who think being from West County is impressive. Most of us know better.

Your an idiot if you don't realize that it doesn't matter that Chicago worst suburb is the same price as west county STL because they are different housing markets. It's way way cheaper to live in STL than Chicago regardless of the city so you aren't really proving your point at all. It's like comparing apples to oranges.

West County v. Chicago? Chicago is no NYC or West Coast so why compare a major city to a medium city? If anyone thinks there area is wealthy, there are 10 more around the corner whose parent's home are even more. This is a childish position.

I think it's innapropriate to judge a house's sisterhood when you're not a part of it...give them a chance, you will know during rush if you click with them no matter where you're from

Anyone can judge. One sits on the bench to make a decision but doesn't meant they have to be at the scene of the crime when it happens.

Honestly avoid tri delt at all costs. It is literally high school and if you're not a private/elite public high school socialite you will not enjoy your house. If you're looking for a pretty party girl house with a solid mix of girls, Id even recommend GPHI over tri delt. I just know too many girls who ended up joining tridelt because they thought it had this amazing reputation and hating it because half their sisters were too hard to get to know because they "already had their friends." There are too many other houses with more diversity who don't just recruit their friends from high school.

If you just want to be a tri delt because they party, are pretty and have good grades, join pi phi, kappa or chi o, all of which also boast quite a few pretty party girls but can maintain grades as well AND have diverse pledge classes. don't ruin your college experience by joining a house just because you think it's going to magically make you popular. I can assure you boys will still date you and you'll still be able to go out and party if you join a different house, you'll just be able to actually bond with your sisters instead of worrying they might forget about you and leave you alone at the bar.

^ this again! My best friend from Laws had Pi Phi, GPhi & TriDelt on pref day. She went TriDelt and is miserable. She is not from STL, not from a private high school and thus, hangs out with girls from Alpha Phi, Gphi, ChiO and ADPi. She regrets pledging.

I made a big mistake pledging this house. Being in a so called "top" house is not what it seems. Don't believe all the hype and choose a house with some real opportunities for sisterhood.

Sisterhood isn't up to the house, it's up to the individual. Do you put yourself out there or do you hang back waiting for other people to make you happy. Remember, you are in charge of your own happiness. No one else can do it for you.
