honestly
by: A real black pnmHi. I am a black pnm going through rush and I can swear to you that this site does not change or defer my feelings towards any sorority and I can proudly speak for every African American woman going through rush when I say that we are just as excited to meet you just as much as you are excited to meet us. We are fully aware of the fact that there is a small amount of us going through so we understand why the number of African American members are small. With that being said I can't wait to meet every single sorority this coming up recruitment. And plz don't think we feel any different going through rush because we know racism is rare in the Greek community. Thank you. Have a great day.

Another Gamma Phi pretending to be black. I assure you as a black woman, there is not one black person in the entire world who would try to speak for our entire community. I, for one, am approaching rush with trepidation.I know there are houses that are open-minded and welcoming, and some that aren't. My sister went through rush and pledged three years ago. She is extremely happy in her house and has made wonderful friends (black and white), but she tells horror stories about rush. For example, people in some houses seemed absolutely obsessed with her hair. C'mon now. Have you NEVER seen black hair before? The person above might not think there is any racism in the greek community, but that's because she's not really black.
